The Center is confident of accomplishing the complete take off of broadband system crosswise over 2.5 lakh town panchayats in the nation by 2018, telecom secretary J S Deepak Thursday said.
Talking on Bharat Net project, which plans to give broadband availability to all panchayats in the nation, Deepak said all panchayats will have a biological community that will promote help the network and scaffold the advanced separation in the nation.
All town panchayats in the nation will be associated through fiber optic system by 2018, he included.
The legislature had before set due date of December 2016 to take off optical fiber system over all panchayats.
He was talking at Global Exhibition on Services in Greater Noida. Deepak said the pace of digitisation is quickening and noteworthy yet a great deal still should be finished.
The Telecom Secretary highlighted three ranges that required center to extension this gap – network, dialect and advanced absence of education, and said the legislature and industry must cooperate to address the same.
