A naked photo of Justin Bieber was posted on his ex-girlfriend's Instagram account on Thursday sending the Internet into a frenzy.

The explicit picture showed the singer in all his nude glory, and had the caption: 'I love you Justin'.
But his ex Chantel Jeffries quickly took to Twitter to alert fans that her Instagram had been hacked even as eagle-eyes sleuths were betting the image had been faked.

Cosmopolitan pointed out that the photo was a selfie taken by Justin that he previously shared on his now deleted Instagram account - and in the original he is wearing pants.

Chantel, who was with The Biebs the night of his 2014 DUI, tweeted: ' My iG is hacked everyone hold on I'll keep you guys update from snapchat.'

The Photoshopped photo, that also had a Selena Gomez tag, was deleted after about 20 minutes.
Chantel then posted a series of video clips in which she explained that someone had been trying all day to hack into her social media accounts, and that her team was fixing the issue.

'Oh my God. Whoever hacked my Instagram account has me so f***ed up right now,' the model said to camera as she in a car.

She went on: 'Alright guys, so this is the only way you can know it's me, so I'm going to keep you updated here.

'But yeah, my Instagram's been hacked. Someone's been trying to hack into all my stuff today.'
