It’s been a rough few months for Mongolian chain Genghis Grill’s DFW locations. Earlier in the summer, an unnamed Genghis Grill employee was canned after refusing to serve a police officerin the aftermath of the shootings that killed five Dallas law enforcement officers. Now, Genghis Grill has been hacked.
The Dallas Morning News reports that card processing systems at four locations of the chain across DFW were accessed by hackers over “the last several months.” The systems were hit with malware, resulting in potential exposure of customer data, namely credit and debit card numbers and their associated expiration dates and security codes.
The locations impacted by the hack in DFW include Genghis Grill restaurants in Addison, Carrollton, Duncanville, and Plano, potentially resulting in the exposure of data from over 55,000 individual transactions between February 9 of this year and September 7.
Which means that if you find yourself frequently digging into a bowl of Genghis Grill’s knockoff Asian-inspired fare at any one of these locations, you may want to check your bank statements or order a new credit card.

The Hackers Day Conference,  is a novel occasion  will be held in Lucknow, on the January 15th-16th, 2017. For more details :
